There’s a reason they call dogs Man’s Best Friend. And they make the most amazing companions for kids while growing up alongside them. Obviously, you always want to use caution when placing a baby near your dog and supervise the situation, but that moment you see the special bond form is such an incredible thing. And that’s exactly what was caught on video below between Lucca and Paje.
Baby Lucca and Paje the Bulldog lie together on the floor relaxing to some Frank Sinatra. Mom starts recording them, and it’s a good thing that she does — a special moment is coming that will fill her heart with joy.
She’d always hoped her son and dog would grow up to be the best of friends, and she has her dreams confirmed when Paje sweetly lifts his arm and places his paw safely and securely around Lucca.
And it was no accident. Just moments later, Paje lifts his head and checks to see if baby Lucca is positioned correctly and comfortably then lays some kisses on top of his head. Then it’s back to napping! For a dog breed that many think of as vicious, this good boy is the sweetest dog! What a moment. 🙂
