Hound Has No Intention Of Herding Sheep, But The Sheep Follow Her Every Move

When on a big farm, it could be difficult to get all of the sheep in the same place where you want them. That is why there are herding dogs to help farmers get the job done.

Common dog breeds used for herding animals are the Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, Shetland Sheepdog, Corgi, and Australian Cattle Dog, among others.

But you won’t ever see a Basset Hound herding any sheep. That is, until now!

Michael Jobson is a part-time farmer in Gamlingay, England, who has a small flock of sheep on his land, along with a three-year-old Basset Hound named Lady.

One day, Lady was outside walking around and sniffing the grass, while the entire flock of sheep start following her every move. Lady is amazing at herding sheep, but she has no idea! She is so oblivious to the situation and doesn’t even have a clue that the sheep are following her.
