When a dog is unwanted, he or she should be surrendered properly. However, that isn’t always the case.
Poor Bella, just a baby, had a condition and instead of being surrendered, she was thrown into a crematory.
At 8 weeks old, she was deemed unworthy to live. But thankfully, someone heard about the puppy and came to save her.

Bella’s condition, an anal obstruction, is considered “delicate” since it needs several professionals to properly diagnose and treat it.
The poor little girl was so scared. Her rescuers had no time to waste. Since her obstruction was so serious, she needed emergency surgery.
Once at the vet clinic, the staff works to stabilize her prior to her operation. She’s very well-behaved. It’s as if she understands she’s being helped.
Bella’s first surgery consists of inserting a catheter. This first step goes very well. She wakes up happy.

The pup is showing everyone that’s she’s a true warrior. She hardly complains. As she gets stronger, she prepares for her next surgery.
Bella is proof that once a dog feels safe and loved, they are more confident. She loves to play and be held too.

Her second surgery is also a huge success! A dog that was treated like trash is thriving thanks to hard-working rescuers and the vet staff.
We are so relieved that this little girl is doing well. As soon as she is medically cleared and old enough, she will be available for adoption.
