Michael was rushed to the hospital. He lost his thumb and had severe burns. But even after being in a constant state of pain, Michael kept asking for Bella.

Meanwhile, Michael’s friends and family started distributing flyers to help track the missing pooch.

When Michael regained consciousness, he completely freaked out about Bella missing and stepped in to intensify the search campaign.

Finally, after 13 long days, a local rescue group was able to track Bella hopelessly lying stranded in the Arizona desert.

Her leash was badly tangled in the bushes for days and she was exhausted while trying to free herself. She was traumatized after having spent the nights alone in the wild desert.

Also, the lack of food or water brought her weight down to just 9 pounds!

Bella is recovering alongside Michael now. He feels extremely lucky that both he and his puppy have miraculously managed to hold on to life in this testing ordeal.

He hopes that Bella never has to go through another such nightmare again. We wish these two a quick recovery!
