Dog Attempts To Run Away From Angry Man But Is Caught & Beaten With Broomstick

Some people do not deserve to have animals, and if police officers in Eastpointe, Michigan are successful, an animal abuser will soon be apprehended.

Someone sent a video to the Eastpointe Police Animal Control Division which featured a helpless dog being abused by an unknown man. It may be that the man lost his dog and when he found him, he became very angry.

According to a Facebook post from the animal control division, the dog was found on Brittany Street in the city.

When the man located the dog in the yard, he found a broomstick and repeatedly began to strike the helpless dog over and over.

It has been confirmed that the man does not live at the residence where the beating took place. As of this writing, police are searching the area for more information.

After posting the initial photos and news of the abuse, the Eastpointe Police Animal Control Division provided a second update in which they ask the public for help.

They wrote, “Does anyone recognize this man and small tan dog, possibly a Pit Bull/Retriever mix? This man may live in the Brittany and Stephens area. We need to talk to him and determine what he did with the dog.”
