This Pug Is So Clingy He Refuses To Let His Owner Go To The Toilet Alone

Meet Nigel the pug who is the happiest when he gets to follow his owner to the loo and sit in his pants while the guy handles his business. Yup, the little pug likes to get up close and personal – and the environment of the toilet doesn’t seem to bother him at all. “Every single time I go to the toilet he comes in and he sits in my boxers while I go,” Chotters told Mirror.

“If I close the door he scratches away at it. It’s so weird having lost all of my privacy – I can’t get a moment of peace.” The man said that even though at first it was strange, now he celebrates the fact he always has someone to talk to while sitting on the loo.

Proud owners 26-year-old Martin Chotters and his fiancé, 23-year-old Ria New from the UK, claim they wouldn’t change anything about the pup – although they do admit the day they got the pooch was the day they had to say goodbye to their privacy. The most important thing, it looks like this toilet ritual makes Nigel the pug really, really happy.

“He is such a wonderful dog. From the moment we got him, we just completely fell in love,” Chotters told Mirror. “He might be clingy but I reckon now if he didn’t follow us everywhere we’d be like, ‘Nigel, where are you?’. We’d definitely miss it.”

  1. Our fatty is the same way! If I take a bath she makes herself comfortable to my robe or towel and if I make the water move she’s got her paws up over the side to check on me.
