A man named Cody broke his neck shortly after graduating from high school. The accident left him confined to a wheelchair with limited use of his arms. And recently, his service dog, Wrigley, passed away. The dog was his everything and loved by everyone in the office where he works. Cody couldn’t afford to get a new service dog, but his coworkers had an idea.

One day at work, Cody arrived to what he thought was a meeting. But it turned out that all of his coworkers had gotten together to raise the funds necessary to get Cody the new service dog he so desperately needed. He was left speechless and touched beyond words. He was presented with a check for $18,000 which was enough to pair him with Mack.

Mack the Golden Retriever came into Cody’s life ready and eager to be his helper. Service dogs aren’t just pets to those they serve, they are their companions. Many routine tasks are hard to accomplish without the help of one of these dogs, and Mack helped complete Cody’s life.
Cody was moved by the act of kindness by his coworkers and just couldn’t believe that these people came together to raise so much money for him to get the partner he needed. Well, believe it Cody! Because these employees sound like some amazing people. 🙂
