Dairy Queen Hopes Social Media Will Reunite Child With Long Lost Stuffed Dog

One of the saddest things that can happen to a small child is losing their favorite stuffed animal. That’s exactly what happened to a kid at a Seminole County Dairy Queen in Florida.

The lost stuffed dog was recovered by employees of the Oviedo Dairy Queen, who promise they are taking good care of this precious commodity.

They named her Lovey, and have posted photos to social media to prove all is well. Lovey has her own nametag and was shown eating ice cream, coloring, and even working the drive-through window.

In one of the most adorable Facebook posts on the restaurant’s page, they wrote, “Day Three: These guys sure are nice, they’re letting me color a picture to give you when you come pick me up. Will you see this post, I miss you.”

The post has gained a lot of attention, with over a thousand shares and a ton of likes. It’s obvious that the nation has a heart for reuniting a child with their long lost stuffed pal.

CBS affiliate WKMG says there are some leads, but no solid reunion as of yet. We hope these two come together real soon. In the meantime, Lovey is keeping busy with lots of ice cream and friends.
