Woman Shoots Dog In Broad Daylight While Man Holds Him Down In Middle Of Road

Lakewood Colorado Police are now on the hunt for two people who were caught on video shooting and killing a dog in the middle of a residential street in broad daylight.

The shooting took place at the intersection of West 12th Avenue and Teller Street around seven in the morning.

Concerned citizens contacted police after they heard gunshots. When deputies arrived, they found the dog lying dead in the street.

Witnesses said they saw a man and a woman park their silver Chrysler 300 at the intersection while they argued.

Then they got out of the car, and the woman shot the dog while the man held him down. They quickly got into their car and drove away, leaving the deceased dog in the street.

The witnesses account of the incident was confirmed by the surveillance video. In the video, you can see the suspects holding down the dog near their car, but it stops before he is shot.

The woman is a white or Hispanic woman with blonde hair and was last seen wearing a black, long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

The man is white or Hispanic with black or dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans with white shoes.

Police are still desperately searching for these two people.
