Dutch is funny, affection, and sweet, so the staff members at the Spokane Humane Society are baffled as to why he’s been waiting for close to a year at the local shelter.

To try and get six-year-old Dutch a forever home for the holidays, the shelter started The “Twelve Days of Dutch” social media campaign. The latest post about this cutie encourages prospective adopters to take him for a walk to the coffee stand and get a “Puppachino.”

Since December 1st, every day a post featuring Dutch doing something adorable is shared on the Spokane Humane Society’s Facebook page.

This sweetheart loves to play fetch and will drop a ball at your feet or right into your hand. The American Staffordshire Terrier wants a home for the holidays.

As the days on the calendar grow closer and closer to Christmas, the staff reminded everyone on Facebook, “Everyone at the shelter is talking about how our gift to each other is Dutch finding a home before Christmas. We hope we don’t even have to post for twelve days.”
