Facts That Prove Pugs Are The Best Breed Ever

There are so many reasons why pugs have become one of the most adored, popular dog breeds in the world.

Die hard pug fanatics swear that pugs are the most lovable, coolest and awesomest (is that even a word?!) of all dog breeds.

Happy-go-lucky and full of energy, the Pug is a vivacious, fun-loving breed, with loads of personality packed into a small package.

Pugs are often called “shadows,” as they love to glue themselves to their owners’ sides and stay close to the action.

While they do have a stubborn streak, they are generally not aggressive, and despite their small frames, they are stout little dogs, making them great pets for families with children.

When they are not napping (which happens frequently), Pugs are almost always charming, animated and ready to play (or eat).

Pugs do best in homes where they receive plenty of attention and are treated like members of the family, and in turn, they offer heaps of devotion and affection.

  1. I adore my rescue pug but would do everything to stop breeders breeding, thw suffering they endure with their congestion, pallet and breathing is enough to warrant an end to breeders making money from exploiting these darlings….. RESCUE A DOG DNT GIVE TO BREEDERS !!!@

  2. This is our rescue Buster. At first we were only going to foster him until we could find him a good home. My wife brought him home he jumped up in my lap and went to sleep. Been my little buddy ever since. Pugs are the best.

  3. I’d agree with almost all of this except the fact that they don’t need much exercise. I have several dogs, 1 of which is a pug. He loves nothing more than his daily 90 min run on the beach every day, whatever the weather. There’s no such thing as an apartment dog… some can be moulded into it more easily but it’s no life for any dog. They need exercise like all of us.
