Family Adopts Disabled Dogs Who Find A Home In Each Other

Marley’s Mutts — a California-based rescue group — rescued Eve and Dillon. But there was something different about these two pups, and they shared a unique connection. Not only were they both abandoned and neglected, but they were both disabled: Eve, a deaf dog and Dillon, blind. Their disabilities made it difficult to find them forever homes, and Eve was especially skittish and scared.

But when Eve met Dillon, it was love at first sniff, and Eve finally started to build her confidence. The pair was inseparable, and it was clear their bond was meant for a lifetime. While Eve was becoming a more secure dog, Dillon took comfort in having Eve as his “eyes” as she helped guide him along.

Then, miraculously along came the Scudder family. After seeing pictures of Eve, the family couldn’t wait to meet her — and they fell in love with both Eve and Dillon on the spot.

Today, Dillon and Eve are together in their happy family, and it’s clear this was all so meant to be!
