All it took was a simple meeting in the barn between two baby animals for a beautiful friendship to blossom. Thankfully, someone caught the incredible moment on film!
In the video below, posted on March 8, 2017, a 10-and-a-half-week-old German shepherd puppy is standing next to a 1-week old foal as the camera rolls.
Suddenly, the two adorable animals engage in a funny little game. The foal licks the side of the dog’s head, then the German shepherd licks the baby horse on the neck in retaliation.
Next, the foal reaches over and nudges the young canine’s head over, asking for a nudge back as well.
As tiny birds chirp in the background, the young foal and German shepherd play around and truly get to know each other better. It is clear that this dynamic duo’s friendship is going to grow very fast.
In fact, the two of them are already acting just like best friends!
The four-legged buddies continue their back-and-forth game for the camera. They don’t call it quits for a single second and allow their budding friendship to be shared with everyone.
