Business owners in a section of Center City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are asking the police to step up their presence in the area.
In recent months, teenagers from local charter schools have been causing many disturbing incidents. The latest involves an innocent dog and his owner.
A customer entered Giovani’s Bar and Grill and had his small leashed dog with him. As the man and his pup left the restaurant, a group of approximately 13 teens followed him out.

“They threw water on him,” cashier Sarah Snyder shared, “They kicked his dog and then they ran off and stole his food.”
The entire incident was captured on surveillance video. Earlier that same week, a young man kicked the side mirror off a car with the driver in the car. When he emerged from the vehicle, three others beat the guy up.
“Other kids the same age, they come in and they’ll take our tips. They’ll steal tips from the jar,” Snyder stated.
