A runaway dog who has not a friend in the world is making international headlines.

The sweet, sad pooch is a Staffordshire mix and was recently seen boarding a city bus in West Yorkshire, England.

A fellow passenger posted the image to her Facebook page, and now the world wants to know what is happening to this pup.

The homeless dog was first seen boarding the city bus by herself. Sadly, when the bus reached its final destination, bus staff removed the animal.

“She did try and get off the bus at one point but it was on the busy main road, so we got her to stay on and someone stayed with her on the bus before she was taken off at Bradford Interchange,” Gemma Burton, a passenger on the bus posted to Facebook.

The pup was taken to a local kennel, but so far her owner has not come forward. On the Bradford Lost and Found Dogs Facebook page, a photo of the dog with a caption was posted. It read, “If you are the legal owner of this dog please call 01226 762391. Proof of ownership, council and kennel fees will be required.”

We hope that whoever owns the dog comes forward or she will find a home where someone will watch over and protect her.
