Lady sets up camera in garage to film neighbor. The footage has gone viral

When you see an adorable dog, sometimes you just can't help but pet it. That's exactly what happened when young Josh Breaux of Pierre Part, Louisiana, couldn't resist sneaking into his neighbor's garage to give a quick hug to Duchess, a black Labrador Retriever.

Homeowner Hollie Mallet was reviewing her home security footage when she saw the sweet interaction between Josh and Bella. She took to Facebook to find the boy and let him know it was okay to come over and play. It didn't take long before the video reached 2 million views, and the boy's mother caught wind of what happened.

According to Good Morning America, Ginger Breaux responded to the Facebook post about her son.“Josh talks about your dog all the time!” Every time we pass he looks to see if she was sitting where he could see her. Just didn't know he was doing things like this. Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn't be on someone's property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much.”

The Breaux family recently lost their own family pet last year and have not yet got another one. Mallet is happy that her dog can fill the void for the young boy until they are ready to get a dog of their own. It's been a great experience for everybody, and now Josh regularly visits his canine friend to play with her.

Mallet sums up the experience, “When we saw the views, and now that it’s almost 2 million, it’s surreal. It’s a positive story and I’m so glad I was able to capture it on camera. It is just pure innocence and we’re so glad to have made a friend.”

The video has since received over 85 million views on Facebook. See the precious moment in the video on the next page!
