Lost Dog Shows Up On Man’s Door Step, So Man Decides To Give Her The Best Day Ever

Brooks Rabren, of Birmingham, Alabama, thought it was going to be just another normal day when all of a sudden he got an unexpected visitor.

A random dog had shown up on his door step. The dog was wearing a collar, but it didn’t have any tags, so Rabren was unsure of who she belonged to.

He posted a picture of her on Facebook, hoping someone would recognize the lost pup, but to no avail.

In the meantime, Rabren decided to have fun with the dog, who he began referring to as “Susan,” and give her the best day ever.

He documented their fun adventures by taking pictures and posted them all on his Twitter page.

Before they went anywhere, Rabren figured she would be hungry so he gave her a bowl of dog food, which she gobbled right up.

Once she was done eating, he took her to the lake for a swim. “Susan” really enjoyed swimming, so much that she needed a nap. While the pup napped, Rabren sat next to her and worked on some homework.

To end their exciting day, Rabren and his new furry friend went on a boat ride.

Soon after, the dog’s owners had been found. It turns out that the dog’s name is Lola, and her owners were extremely grateful for Rabren taking such great care of her and were glad they had a fun time together.

Rabren and Lola may have only spent one day together, but they quickly formed a special bond like they’ve known each other forever. It was clear these two would definitely miss each other.

And Lola proved the latter to be true! Ten minutes after her owners picked her up, Lola had already found her way back to Rabren’s house again! It seems like she didn’t want their fun day to end.

Rabren hung with her on the porch until her owner’s returned to pick her up again.

Rabren’s story of Lola began going viral on Twitter, and people from all over the world were tuning in to Rabren’s live updates.

“When I showed her owner how much love Lola was getting on Twitter and how much fun Lola had today she almost started crying and thanked me for taking such good care of her,” Rabren tweeted. “Made the day that much better for sure.”
