Chained Up For 5 Years, He Was Hit On His Head Whenever He Got “Too Excited”

Dogs aren’t just pets, they are meant to be part of the family.

Poor Marley never knew what it was like to be part of a family. Instead, he was chained up in a backyard without proper food or clean water for more than five years.

Not only was he neglected, but he was also abused. His cruel owner would hit him on the head every time he got “too excited.”

And the only word that Marley knew was “no,” since that’s all his owner ever said to him. He didn’t even have a name that he recognized.

Thankfully, he was eventually rescued by PETA, and finally received some TLC for the first time in his life.

He was medically examined and treated for parasites and malnutrition. Luckily, other than that, he was given a clean bill of health.

Once he was ready, they helped him find a loving forever home, which he quickly settled into.

Today, Marley has a warm couch to sleep on, a new doggy sister to play with in his big backyard, and all the cuddles and toys he wants.

His new dad, Michael Moss, loves and spoils him endlessly, and will always make sure that he feels happy.
