NYPD Officer Michael Pascale was out on the job on a cold day right after Christmas when he came across a dog chained to a fence in the rain. The poor thing sat shivering in the freezing cold rain huddled against the strong wind. The cop knew he had to take him.

Officer Pascale took the dog home to give him all the love and attention he needed. There was no way he was going to ignore this neglected dog and decided to take the initiative to help a dog that someone else had abandoned. Now the two are inseparable. 🙂

Michael now speaks up for dogs like Joey who are neglected and abused. Pets should never be left outside in cold temperatures to fend for themselves. The officer is hoping Joey’s story brings about some change.
