Military K-9 Steps Off Elevator And Sees His Handler For First Time In 3-Years

U.S. Marine Canine Handler Sgt. Joe Stasio and K-9 Enzo spent over a year together in the Marines.

For seven months, they were side by side in Kuwait, and trained together back in the United States.

The two of them last saw each other in January 2017, but now that Enzo is eight years old and is retiring, Stasio was able to adopt him, thanks to Mission K9 Rescue.

Mission K9 Rescue is a non-profit that helps reunite handlers with their K9s. The organization flew Enzo from Camp LeJune in North Carolina all the way to Buffalo to reunite with Stasio.

For the first time in three years, the two of them reunited in a heartwarming moment at the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport in New York.

Stasio waited for Enzo outside of the elevator, and hugged him as soon as he saw him. You DO NOT WANT TO MISS this reunion!
