Onni is a 1-year-old talking Umbrella cockatoo who perfectly embodies the characteristics of his Finnish name, which means luck and happiness. He has transformed his new home into a happy paradise, and his parents just can’t get enough of him.

This video was taken by Onni’s mom during one of his routine activities. Every day, when Dad is about to return from work, Onni lingers by the window in anticipation. When he finally spots Dad, Onni goes mad with joy as he gets ready to say hello to his big man!
As soon as Dad walks in through the door, Onni takes a swift flight and perches comfortably on Dad’s shoulder. He conveys his happiness with his adorable squawks, and Dad too responds by petting him and asking him about his day.

Dad enquires with Onni if Mom treated him well. Onni tilts his head and replies with a squeal, as if saying, “She was good, but I missed you more!” The way Onni paces up and down while ‘talking’ about his day makes for one of the most hilarious “pet-versations” we’ve ever seen!
