Vet Ranch, located in Texas, was founded in 2014 by Dr. Matt Carriker. They provide medical care to homeless animals.
The Vet Ranch team works to rehabilitate abandoned, abused and homeless animals with the hope that they will be adopted into forever homes.
If you visit their website, you will see that a lot of the animals they help are cats and dogs. But they also help farm animals.
In this video, we meet a horse named Nova. She was at an auction to be sold for slaughter – and she was pregnant. Because of the generous donations Vet Ranch received, they were able to rescue Nova and her unborn calf!
