Dying Homeless Puppy Wags Her Tail One Last Time In A Final Attempt To Get Help

Distemper is one of the most common causes of death among unvaccinated homeless dogs.

This contagious virus attacks the dogs’ respiratory, gastrointestinal and central nervous systems, and is often fatal.

In this video, we see the workers from Animal Aid Unlimited trying to save a tiny homeless puppy suffering from distemper.

The puppy had been infected for weeks, but received no help as she was a homeless baby. Eventually, she was found collapsed on a roadside, wagging her tail in hopes of finding help.

The rescue team knew the puppy was on her deathbed, but they wanted to give her a fair chance to heal.

For 14 days, she was administered intensive care treatment with the help of antibiotics and fluids.

Despite her unbearable pain, the puppy was thankful to have people caring for her for the first time in her life.

Slowly, she began getting better each day!

It was a miraculous moment for the care team when the puppy finally found the strength to stand up on her 4 paws and walk again!

She felt so victorious that she immediately ran to her saviors and hugged them tight. Her big smiles and non-stop tail wags just made our day!
