In spite of all the odds, Roman finds the spirit to enjoy the little pleasures in his life with the help of his loyal dog named Maggie. Every moment spent with her puts a big smile on his face, and Maggie too, loves and supports Roman like a faithful companion.

With Maggie’s help, the now 2-year-old Roman has shown remarkable progress, as compared to other cases of Spina Bifida. When Roman learned to take his first independent steps with the help of crutches, Maggie was the one to stand beside him and cheer him on!
