Dogs are smart, funny, and if they think you are in danger, you just never know how they will behave. This is exactly what one man in Randolph County, North Carolina, was about to find out. This story involves a Labrador Retriever, a rope, and a lake.
The guy grabs onto a rope and swings out over a lake. All this time, his two Labrador Retrievers are on the dock, excitedly watching his antics. Apparently, the guy thought it would be fun but he never meant to scare his dogs.
His Black Labrador, Buster, really got upset, however. He started pacing, whining, and felt the need to get to his dad!
In an act of desperation and love, Buster jumped into the lake to swim out to his dad. Next, the yellow Labrador joined in.
As soon as the dogs got to their dad, they were super excited to be reunited. What a loving act of devotion on behalf of Buster and his canine pal. Watch this heroic act on video below.
