Army Veteran Adam was stationed in Korea for a year and while overseas he thought he may never see his adorable Great Dane, Ares, again.
While Adam was overseas, his wife decided to divorce him and no longer wanted to keep Ares, despite the fact that he was non-aggressive, loving, and well-trained. She gave him away to a friend of her brother’s.
Adam was in a helpless situation. He had no friends or family who could take care of Ares for a year, but he needed to know the dog he had since he was a puppy was being well-looked after.
Adam’s parents intervened and found an organization called PACT for Animals. The group finds qualified foster homes for pets in need of temporary homes while their military families are away.
Ares’ foster family took incredible care of Ares and when Adam finally returned home, he was joyfully reunited with his best friend!
