Cat Falls 20 Ft Between 2 Walls, Almost To Her Death, & Prays Someone Will Save Her

Hope For Paws received a text from Paola Eliza and her mom Chelo, regarding a cat who was in serious need of rescuing.

The poor cat, later named Valentina, ran into the women’s store, climbed to the attic, and fell 20 feet down between two walls.

Paola built a ramp in hopes that the cat would climb up it on her own and free herself, but she was much too exhausted and scared.

They initially called the local fire department, but firefighters were unsure of the best way to reach the cat. That’s when Hope For Paws stepped in.

They used the same equipment they had used on a previous similar rescue of another cat. They lowered a net to lift the cat up instead of pulling her up by her neck.

Thankfully, their plan worked, and they successfully lifted the cat up to safety!

Once they had the kitty in their hands, they could tell right away how dehydrated she was. They rushed her to CARES, where she received much-needed medical care.

After telling a friend about the rescue, she told rescuers that she had a friend who was looking to adopt a Siamese cat! Valentina now has a loving forever home!
