Disabled Boy And 1,400lb Steer Share Unbreakable Bond They Take To The Show Ring

Alec Gotta is a child with a dream. The 8-year-old always wanted to show his prized Angus beef cattle in competition. The only thing stopping him was the neurological disorder that left him paralyzed since eight months of age.

Alec told his dad he wanted to get involved with the 4-H Club, which helps young people who want to work with animals by teaching care and responsibility.

Despite living life from a wheelchair, the child was determined to show off his 1,400-pound steer in the show ring.

Shortly after joining 4-H, the bond between Alec and animals shone through. The little child with a large dream had a natural gift with the animals in his care.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as Alec and the steer made their way around the arena ring. Proceeds from the event went to help ill children at the Ronald McDonald House.
