Woman Devastated As Kennel Says Her Dog Died, And Wrapped Her Up Like A Package

A Dublin woman named Kirsten Kinch recently shared the heartbreaking story of her Siberian Husky named Nova who turned up dead after a 3-day stay with the local P&E Kennels.

Nova had never been away from her family and it was her first time in the kennel due to the family’s trip to Iceland. Nova was in good health but needed steroid-based medication to manage her Colitis. Kristen made sure to communicate the feeding details through written and verbal instructions.

However, when Kristen returned, she was handed a tightly taped mass in a black bag. The kennel claimed that Nova was found dead that morning due to internal bleeding, the cause of which is unknown. Kristen was devastated, but also enraged at the kennel’s disrespectful treatment of Nova’s dead body.

A postmortem is set to reveal the circumstances around Nova’s mysterious death. P&E Kennels have remained mum on the whole issue, thereby refusing to take any responsibility. Kristen, who is torn apart by Nova’s death, is working on creating awareness on the insufficient care and misleading advertisements circulated by many kennels.

We hope further investigations reveal the full truth behind Nova’s death. Every pet-parent is anxious when they leave their pet in someone else’s care, and we hope no pet-parent has to face a situation like this one. Rest in peace, Nova.
