Having one dog is great. Having two dogs that get along is even more wonderful, as they have someone to play with when you’re not at home. Having three dogs? Well, that just calls for a big old celebration!

No one would think that a weimaraner and a dachshund could be such close friends. With the differences in size, it was unlikely that the larger dog would see his smaller counterpart as anything other than a tasty meal, but you couldn’t be more wrong.

Harlow the weimaraner and Indiania the dachshund are the best of friends and do absolutely everything together. They snuggle in bed, laugh for the camera, and even scope out their newest sibling in the form of another puppy.

Reese Lightning is the newest addition to the doggy family, and is a miniature dachshund with a speckled coloration that definitely adds some character to their home.

The poor pup is only nine weeks old and was given up for adoption when her original parents could no longer keep her. Though they seem wary of their smallest sibling, they couldn’t be happier with her.

She does chew on their ears and tails from time to time, but they take it all in stride. Once her puppy years are over, she’ll likely grow out of it so that they can get their afternoon naps in peace.

Still, they do play quite well together and would likely defend each other should a danger pose a threat to any of them. This floppy-eared trio couldn’t be more adorable! Share away, people!
