Protection Dogs Plus of New Hampshire believes that every man, woman, and child has the right to be safe in their own homes.
That’s why they train German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, two of the best dog breeds for protection, to defend the families they live with.
“The best home protection dogs are quick to ‘lie down’ as they are to charge an intruder,” their website says.
That’s why they don’t sell your typical guard dogs.
“Guard dogs are generally left out in someone’s backyard or commercial facility- they’re NOT trained to be family-friendly companions,” says Protection Dogs Plus owner an head trainer Khaled Behisy.
“The protection dogs trained by Protection Dogs Plus provide the best of both worlds: secure personal protection from a loving pet. From our family to yours, we’re devoted to training the most reliable protection dogs while creating your perfect family companion.”
Khaled believes so firmly in this that he trusts his dogs around his 5-year-old daughter Lyla.
“We’re training dogs every day, using a wide variety of settings and handlers to be absolutely sure any of our dogs are ready to be your family’s loving pet and reliable guardian,” the Protection Dogs Plus website says.
He even let her “test drive” a dog named Arko to see how well trained he is in protection and to test out her handling skills.
In the video, Arko, who is even bigger than Lyla, listens intently to her every command. He stays directly by her side fiercely barking at Khaled who is circling them.
And as soon as she says so, Arko goes right for Khaled’s arm.
This is one girl and dog combo that you DO NOT want to mess with.
For some reason, people were completely entranced by how violent yet obedient this dog could because the video ended up going viral and was viewed more than 5 million times on Facebook and more than 2,000 on YouTube.
Many people commented that they want a dog just like this for their own families. And Protection Dogs Plus promises that it will be well worth it.
“Our training is designed to build each dog up; we want a happy confident dog, not an oppressed dog that has been trained too hard,” Protection Dogs Plus says. “We promise that your dog will not only be a joy to own, but will also prevent dangerous incidents from happening to your family, and may even save a life.”
You can watch Lyla and Arko in action below.
Lyla, 5, wanted to "test drive" Arko in protection and give her handling skills a try.

looks staged to me. What, someone just happened to be there to film it? If so, why didn’t they stop the man?

My babies will lick you to death unless I feel threatened. I love how protective they are. And I’m the same with them.
