These dog owners saw their pet panicking and frantically running around the boat out back in the yard, so they went to investigate.
The dog was trying to get under the boat, so something was clearly under there. That’s when they discovered what all the fuss was about.
The dog was barking and whimpering and running around the upside-down boat. They had no idea why.

They left the kittens there and supervised to see if their mother would show up, but a mother never came. With really cold temperatures just around the corner, they took the kitties inside.

The family took the kittens to the vet and made sure to follow all guidelines to caring for them properly.

It’s sad these kittens were abandoned and left to fend for themselves, but these people did all the right things to keep them alive and healthy!
