It’s hard to imagine what some rescue dogs had to go through in their lives before arriving to a point where they could live like normal dogs.
Sometimes that pain is worn on their sleeves until they’re able to leave those pasts behind.
As for Holly the Chinese Crested dog, it would take her a bit to shed her rough beginning to life.

The dog was rescued from a breeder and taken home by her new mom. And she was terrified of everything, understandably.
But she was so scared that she’d walk around the house with her bed on her back in order to feel safe. It would be a process.

Slowly, Holly would come around a little each day as she learned her surroundings and new life. She just had to learn to trust again.
Now, she no longer feels the need to hide like a turtle in its shell. Look at her living her best life and playing in her cute pajamas! 🙂
Holly’s Amazing Journey is just that, and it’s wonderful to see.
