They say love makes a house a home — and for a man named Rubén, better known as Noé, that love extends to every stray dog who crosses his path.
Though Noé lives on the streets of Colombia and has little to call his own, he’s built a family from compassion. Over time, he’s taken in dozens of homeless dogs, giving each one the warmth and care they’d been denied.
“They are living beings,” Noé told IguanaTV. “They mean everything to me.”

What began with just one rescue has grown into a mobile pack of loyal companions.
Using a handmade double-decker push cart, Noé brings his furry friends with him everywhere — a traveling sanctuary built on love.
Each pup has a story. There’s Rocky, left tied to a traffic light. Sisters Ears and Cheeks, abandoned as puppies.
You can watch Noé introduce his pups here:

On the top level of the cart, they ride alongside Tyson the pit bull and Shakira the German shepherd. Down below, senior dogs like Tembleque, Parkinson, and Morochito enjoy the sights and sounds of the city, finally safe and loved.
“Morochito was left with me while I was sleeping outside a store,” Noé recalled. “Now he’s one of us.”
Despite his own limited means, Noé goes above and beyond to care for his dogs. He prepares hearty meals made from oats, carrots, meat, and seeds — always feeding the dogs before himself.
Watch Noé prepare the pack’s meal here:

“They eat first,” he said. “My food can wait.”
After the dogs are fed, Noé might have a simple arepa and coffee before continuing his journey. With his loyal companions by his side, every day feels purposeful.

Though life on the streets is hard, Noé’s love for his dogs keeps him going. Together, they’ve created a family bound not by walls, but by unwavering devotion.
“A dog’s love is the best there is,” Noé said.
