Peaches, Challah, and Mitzi don’t just live in comfort — they live in style. Thanks to their devoted human, Ben Mazer, these three tiny pups now have their own private living room that rivals most human spaces in design and detail.
Worried about leaving the dogs alone in the house while he was at work, Mazer wanted a safe, cozy place where they could relax without risk. So, he decided to convert a spare bedroom into a dedicated dog lounge.
“I wanted to create a space where they would be comfortable staying while I’m away,” Mazer told The Dodo.
What began as a modest plan — maybe a mini couch, some plants, a few cute touches — quickly evolved into something far more elaborate.
One creative impulse led to another, and before long, Mazer had built a full-fledged miniature living room complete with a fireplace, a TV, end tables, throw pillows, and even a chandelier. There’s also a working fish tank and a curated selection of tiny books on tiny shelves.
Every detail has been scaled perfectly for his small-breed dogs, creating an environment that’s both whimsical and functional.
The dogs didn’t need a big reveal to fall in love with the space — they watched it come to life piece by piece and happily claimed it as their own.
Today, the room is constantly evolving. Mazer regularly updates the décor, especially for holidays, treating it as an ongoing creative project. And the dogs seem to enjoy it even more when he’s in there with them.
“I think they like that I spend time in the room as well,” he said.
The result is more than just an aesthetic achievement — it’s a living testament to the joy of creating something purely out of love. And judging by Peaches, Challah, and Mitzi’s contentment, it's a masterpiece.
