Since 2020, a loyal yellow Lab named Noodle has been right by her mom Jacklyn’s side — not just as a service dog, but as a constant companion through every challenge and achievement.
And recently, Noodle’s unwavering support helped her make history.
After completing extensive service dog training to assist Jacklyn with medical needs, Noodle took on an even bigger role when Jacklyn enrolled in a master’s program.

Day after day, Noodle accompanied her to class, napping quietly at her feet or keeping an eye on her surroundings while lectures filled the room.
“She was the first and only dog to walk for Purdue University’s graduation this year,” Jacklyn told The Dodo.

While Jacklyn pursued her MBA, Noodle never missed a step — or a class. She was there for every study session, every late-night assignment, and every moment of stress.
And when the opportunity came for an internship with Walt Disney Imagineering, the pair took their academic journey to a magical new level.

Noodle was already a Disney fan, known for her sweet demeanor during past visits to the parks. But now she and Jacklyn were officially part of the Disney family.
As interns, they explored new projects by day and the magic of the parks by night — and Noodle earned another historic title along the way.
According to Disney Parks Blog, Noodle became Florida’s first canine Imagineer. She took her job seriously — but always with a wag and a smile.

After their internship wrapped up, Jacklyn and Noodle returned to Indiana for graduation. Although Jacklyn had done the coursework herself, she felt Noodle had earned every bit of recognition for her support.
So, when it came time to decorate their graduation caps, Jacklyn made sure her furry classmate got her moment.

Her cap read, “I used my Noodle,” while Noodle’s said, “Hi, my name is Noodle,” complete with her own Purdue tassel.

Dressed in a tiny black gown, Noodle proudly walked across the stage — the very definition of a good girl and a great student.
After the ceremony, the scholarly pup celebrated the only way she knew how: with a joyful stick-chewing session.

Now, Jacklyn and Noodle are settling into life after graduation, still inseparable and already planning their next chapter.
“We have another adventure around the corner,” Jacklyn shared on Instagram.
