
Max was in a severely weakened state, with skin that appeared “almost turned to stone,” and he struggled to walk even short distances.
The couple who fostered him recognized his need for care and provided him with a safe and loving home. He had NO idea how to be a dog at first.
Max's health improved dramatically with the couple's care, and he started to wag his tail, a sign of happiness and regained vitality.
Max's interactions with the couple's other dogs also improved, indicating his reintegration into a healthy social environment.
The couple eventually adopted Max on his foster father's birthday, solidifying his place in their family.
