Dog Who Was Once a Stray Now Cruises the Streets Like a Pro

When Greyson was rescued as a tiny pup, no one could have guessed how far — or how fast — he’d go. Once abandoned on the streets, the playful dog now zips around town in a way that turns heads everywhere he goes.

Greyson’s new life began when he was adopted by his dad, James Bonde. From that day on, the two became inseparable.

“He goes everywhere I go,” Bonde told The Dodo.

That includes hikes, kayak trips, surfing sessions — and, most uniquely, rides on a Onewheel, a self-balancing electric board.

At first, Greyson just rode along with Bonde, balancing while his dad did all the steering. But over time, Greyson began to figure out how the device worked.

He leaned this way and that, and soon realized that shifting his weight could move the board on its own.

To everyone’s amazement, Greyson quickly picked up the skill — and before long, he was riding solo.

He practiced slowly at first, carefully testing his balance.

But soon enough, Greyson was gliding with confidence, even off-road. His dad was so impressed that he bought Greyson his very own Onewheel, so now the duo can ride side by side.

The pair have become local celebrities during their rides, catching the eyes (and hearts) of everyone who sees them.

“Greyson loves to ride,” Bonde said. “And he loves everybody.”

It’s hard to believe this confident, fun-loving dog was once left behind on the streets. Now, thanks to his dad, Greyson not only has a home filled with love — but also a thrilling way to move through life.

“I don’t think he realizes how amazing he is,” Bonde said. “It’s just all he knows.”
