She couldn’t even stand when they found her 
Zirka was pregnant, severely underweight, and had a broken pelvis — and her rescuers weren’t sure she would survive. After she gave birth, her baby just wanted to run and play, but she couldn’t keep up.
Then one day, on her own, she started to trot — and soon she was running right beside him 
She started jogging so she could run for her sweet baby boy.
