Meet Lizzy, an eight-year-old Great Dane (at the time of the video) from Florida who stands at 37.96 in (96.41 cm) tall. According to Guinness World Records, she’s the tallest female dog in the world.
Her owner, Greg Sample, says the dog has been this size since she was three years old. He’d have to use a miniature pony measuring tool since there wasn’t a dog one big enough for her!
Lizzy may be the tallest female dog, but she’s the least bit intimidating. She’s a very calm and laid-back dog.

She’s so tall, her food bowl needs to be kept on a chair. Her water dish is kept in the garage because she makes such a mess. Her owner says Lizzy was extremely clumsy as a puppy because of her huge paws. Thankfully, she’s grown into them!
