Hubie is a senior dog who came to Best Friends Animal Society from a local shelter in Utah, where he was surrendered because his owner was being admitted into a retirement facility.
He had a very serious skin condition and would need costly, life-long treatment in order to stay healthy.
Because of this, he would need a forever home with an experienced human who would help give him the love and special care that he needed.
Luckily, Dr. Zoe Braun, who has a passion for senior dogs and geriatric medicine, saw Best Friends’ Facebook post about Hubie, and immediately wanted to help him.
After meeting Hubie, she decided to make him a permanent member of her family!
Dr. Braun knows exactly how to care for a dog like Hubie, so he will be happy and healthy for the rest of his days with Dr. Braun.
