To most (if not all) dogs, a bath doesn't equate to getting all beautified; it means having the worst time of his life.
His fear isn't completely irrational: Water's scary, not to mention being suds up and groped. Your canine friend thinks baths are for the birds.
Case in point: Here's an English Bulldog crying during bath time! Eisley Quinn the Bulldog is inconsolably sad about having to take a bath and just can't hold his emotions in.
Eisley is a one year old English bulldog who was so upset that she was getting a bath that she resorted to weeping, quivering chin and all!
