Rosie the rescue dog entered the county animal shelter in a very pregnant state. Knowing she was so far along, the kind folks at Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue took her in and found her a foster home to help out. Little did they realize that when Rosie gave birth, the result would be four baby cows.

Karen and John Black, who have fostered 20 dogs so far, were super excited to welcome the babies into the world. When Rosie finally gave birth, her puppies did not resemble their mama. The fab four looked like baby cows!

When the photo was posted on Reddit, the Internet exploded. No doubt, people were confused but so was Rosie. You can see by the look on her face she is a bit perplexed about her newborns.

The litter was given the perfect names: Daisy, Clarabelle, Betsy, and Moo. Rosie and her pups all received loving, forever homes. We aren’t being “udderly” ridiculous, we don’t “milk it,” but this is too cute, wouldn’t you agree?
