The Pit Bull puppy next door was chained outside and neglected. She often went hungry and thirsty and had to brave the elements all year around.
But when a flock of vultures started swarming the doghouse, the neighbors were alerted to the abuse.
Little Lilo was sick and on the verge of death, so the neighbors called the authorities.

She was quickly placed in a foster home where she received a bath for the first time in her life.

And it wasn’t long after that when Keana and Travis took the Pit Bull pup into their home. She never knew love like this, and her first soft bed was quite a change. 🙂

Lilo warmed up to her new family and figured she could get used to this. 😉

She even got to hang out with other dogs for the first time, and she fit right in!

The cold, lonely nights on the brink of death were a distant memory. This was her life now.

She now spends her days looking forward to going out to play when it’s nice…

And snuggling on the couch when it’s naptime. She’s living the life she’s always deserved.

Once surrounded by nothing but death and depression, Lilo now has a loving forever home where she’ll never have to worry about being neglected again! 🙂
