While out for a drive and chatting with a loved one on the phone, MadMax Po was taking in the scenery when something curious caught his eye — a typical suburban sight: someone riding a lawn mower.
At first, he didn’t give it a second thought. But as he passed by, he did a double take that nearly made him stop in his tracks.
“I thought I was tripping,” MadMax Po wrote on Facebook. “This man dog cutting the grass.”
There, perched confidently on the seat of the rideable mower, was not a person — but a dog, sitting upright like he’d been hired for the job.
Stunned and amused, MadMax Po immediately told the person on the phone what he was witnessing. She insisted he take a picture, but he went one step better — he hit record.
He knew no one would believe him without proof.
The now-viral video shows the calm, composed pup “operating” the lawn mower like it’s just another day on the job. Whether he actually started the mower or just jumped up for a scenic ride, one thing’s for sure: he looked like a pro.
MadMax Po had no time to stop and investigate, so the full backstory remains a mystery. Is this dog the neighborhood landscaper? Does he hop on for fun every day? We may never know.
