Rescuer Sabine confronted the owner of a small dog being kept in a tiny cage and asked if she’s always kept locked up.
He said Mimi had been caged for two years because they had a baby and were afraid the dog would get the little one sick.
She begged him for a month to hand the dog over, and he finally agreed.
Mimi had so much to learn about the world, but first she had to get clean and healthy. She got a spa day to signal the end of her days in a dirty cage, and she couldn’t stop smiling!
Mimi would eventually find the perfect forever home with her mom, Suzanne, and you have to see them together today. 🙂
