
A customer at a San Marcos, California convenience store alerted authorities of a disturbing case of puppy abandonment recently.
San Diego’s Humane Society Law Enforcement office is investigating the person who dumped a sick puppy in a parking lot.
A tiny 6- to 7-week-old female Chihuahua puppy was discovered in a frail, lethargic state. She was malnourished and in need of immediate medical attention.

After rushing the little one to a vet, the prognosis given was grave. As a result, the decision was made to euthanize her.
On further investigation, video surveillance showed a dark blue or black 2-door Sedan vehicle with at least three people parked at a nearby business.
A man exited the vehicle with an uncovered box and placed it next to a trash bin at the Circle Mart store.
