At Chila Pets, a cozy little pet supply shop in Junín, Argentina, most customers stop by during the day to pick up treats and toys for their furry friends. But one special visitor, a scruffy brown dog named Osito, has his own schedule — and his own favorite spot.
The other night, as the shop owner was locking up, he noticed something unusual: a fluffy brown ball snoozing soundly on one of the display beds.
“Yesterday, when closing the store, we found this,” Chila Pets wrote on TikTok. “Somebody stayed to sleep inside.”

It was Osito — whose name means “little bear” in Spanish — fast asleep, wrapped in comfort like he’d found his forever home.
Unlike most of the store’s customers, Osito doesn’t belong to one person. He’s what the locals lovingly call a “community dog.” During the day, he roams freely through the neighborhood, greeting familiar faces and soaking up affection from everyone he meets.
“We call Osito a stray because he likes to wander around during the day,” Chila Pets explained. “But at night, he sleeps at a neighbor’s place.”
Between kind neighbors and shopkeepers, Osito is never without food, love, or a warm place to rest. And his favorite stop, of course, is Chila Pets.
He’s been visiting the store for years — sometimes for a treat, sometimes for a nap, and sometimes just to say hello. The staff always greet him with open arms (and often a handful of snacks).

Occasionally, Osito even scores an invitation upstairs to the shopkeeper’s apartment, where he enjoys the ultimate luxury — curling up on a real bed, not just one on display.

But sometimes, he doesn’t wait for an invite. On that quiet night, he simply let himself in, picked out the softest bed in the shop, and drifted off to sleep.
The owners couldn’t bring themselves to move him.
“Chila loves you, sleepy little bear,” they wrote.
Osito may not have one home — but with a whole community that loves him, he’ll never be without one.
