20. Border Terrier

If you need a slightly low-maintenance dog in terms of appearance, Border Terrier is the one for you. With their scruffy looks, they don’t need to be bathed often, only when they’re particularly smelly.
They are a bit sociable with strangers and they generally respond to training when motivated by praise, encouragement and food (like we all do!).
Be careful not to let them off the leash, though! They are so determined to pursue anything that runs hence this huge tendency to get themselves into trouble!
