The Pekingese is truly a breed of its own. It is a royal dog who knows it and therefore doesn’t blend well to children and even to other dogs. They can get really stubborn when left undisciplined, and their long mane requires daily care.
However, when The Peke has been with your family for quite some time, it will protect even in the point of death. That’s how loyal the Pekingese can get!
